D&D Magical Villa

We have stayed on Emerald Island multiple times, including twice in this specific villa. Our original stay was due to be in 2020 but of course was delayed due to the pandemic. During this time the ownership has changed. The new owner, Deanna, was extremely helpful and the transfer of our booking was smooth. Deanna was always on hand to answer any questions in the lead up to and during our stay via email with replies received promptly. The villa itself has been lightly renovated since our last stay. There's a new leather sofa in the family area and the internet has been upgraded to a faster speed (important for us as our stay was a working holiday). The kitchen is well equipped with many appliances such as a kettle (rare in some villas!) 2 coffee machines - 1 traditional coffee maker and 1 pod type machine - similar to a tassimo here in the UK, and all the kitchenware you could possibly need! There is more than enough furniture in the pool area which now also includes a gas bbq. All bedrooms were well decorated and the beds were comfortable. Overall we had a great hassle free stay. We would certainly stay in this villa again and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others!

We have stayed at this property several times over the years, it is a fantastic location to Disney, I4 for universal and Sea World, Walmart, Publix and lots of eating places. It is also a very easy drive from the airport. Our last stay was December 2021 with our kids and grandkids. This property accommodates all ages with high chairs and cots for the babies to the games room and games console for older kids/adults. Deanna was very helpful responding to any queries promptly. I will definitely return to visit again.

Being regular visitors to Central Florida and having stayed in many properties we think we have found one of the best on offer. We have stayed at Emerald Island Resort on several occasions because we liked the closeness of the location to the attractions, the main shopping areas and the safety of the gated community with 24 hour security. We have stayed at Simba’s Pride on three occasions – May 2018, December 2018 and May 2019. The booking process is simple and the owners are friendly and very helpful. The property is presented as described and is fully equipped to the highest standard. There are ample sun loungers on the massive pool deck and the South facing pool makes the most of the sun from sunrise to sunset. This is a real bonus when there are children in your party. Indeed, the themed bedrooms are a real hit with the kids also, as is the games room. From time to time things will require maintenance and this is no one’s fault just a fact of life. We had to contact the local management company for a minor issue. We found them to be polite and efficient with the matter being resolved on the same day. Great service and great piece of mind. A quick mention about Emerald Island Resort. The Club House has a well-equipped gym, communal pool, basketball court and tennis court. In addition the grounds and landscaping are kept in an immaculate condition. Our family has enjoyed making lasting memories at Simba’s Pride and would definitely stay at this property again in the future. Thank you for having us as your guests.
