The Palms at Lake Davenport

We had such a wonderful holiday thanks to Gary and Lorraine’s villa. The villa is spacious, incredibly easy to find, and in a very convenient location. There’s a Publix just five minutes away, along with plenty of local takeaway options. We often chose the scenic route to ChampionsGate for meals out, avoiding the traffic and enjoying the drive. The residential neighbourhood gave us a real taste of everyday Florida life, which was something our whole party appreciated. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The fully equipped kitchen was a fantastic feature and truly made the villa feel like a home away from home. We especially loved the soft lighting and carpeting throughout, which created a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. After busy days exploring the parks and attractions, it was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a movie in the evenings, with Smart TVs available throughout the house. The pool is also much larger than it appears in the photos. It enjoys sunshine throughout the morning and into the early afternoon before the sun moves behind the roofline, providing some welcome shade from the Florida heat. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the villa cool and comfortable at all times. We were particularly grateful for the excellent communication from Gary and Lorraine. They provided plenty of helpful information before booking, before our arrival, and throughout our stay. We even received a thoughtful safe-travels message on our departure day, which was a lovely touch. We genuinely couldn’t fault anything and would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting the area. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Fabulous home. Lovely estate which is very quiet. This was our second stay here and Gary is an excellent host that makes sure you have all the information you need, and is always on hand to deal with your queries. 5 minutes from the nearest shops and 5 minutes from some great pubs.

We have just had the best 17 day holiday in Floirida, Found Gary & Loraine’s villa on VR360, photos don’t do the villa justice at all, The palms is a lovely, clean and really well presented villa, ideal for families, 20-25mins away from Disney world, 30-35 mins from Universal resort. The palms is located on the 27 which has restaurants, takeaway, local supermarket and Gas stations nearby by (4mins by car) The palms has large hallway on enter the villa, very spacious living area with 3 large sofas giving you a homely feel with a large TV, a very well equipment kitchen, large cooker, dish washer and full-size American fridge freezer complete with ice and water built in, The pool and pool area was our favourite place to spend time in relax and sit out in the sun and cool off in the pool, the master bedroom is huge with full size bath, shower and toilet, the large main bedroom located downstairs has en suite with big shower and toilet. The 3 spacus bedrooms with walk in wardrobes located upstairs with a large bathroom with along the landing. Both Gary & Lorraine are lovely people and are so down to earth to deal with made the process faultless. Highly Recommend 10/10

We have just gotten back from an amazing 2 week stay in this villa. We booked up way back in March 2024 for July/Aug 2025 and from beginning to end Gary & Lorraine have been incredible. We have had regular updates, little chats about the area with local knowledge that became a god send to avoid traffic! No question was every to daft for them, they really did go that extra mile. The villa is massive! we are a family of 5 including 2 teenagers and everybody there own space. We found ourselves looking for everybody at 1 point! It's perfectly situated for Bars/restaurants, grocery stores etc but also not right on top of the parks so it's nice and quiet. Disney was about 20min drive away, universal about 40mins. It's very well equipped, it has everything you could possible need including a games room that has everything from darts to air hockey and a brilliant pool to chill out in after a hard days walk around the parks, that has the sun on it most of the day so gets nice and warm. It's so quiet in the area it was nice to sit by the pool at and time of day and chill. All in all we had an amazing time, it was home from home and we can't wait to rebook asap. Thankyou Gary & Lorraine for everything we can't recommend both you guys and the Villa higher. 20 out of 10 from us!

Spent 5 weeks enjoying the property. Easy to find, excellent directions by the owners. House is very well equipped, comfortably set up. The pool was very well set up, lounge chairs are certainly a lovely plus. Terrific hosts, very easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend. Thanks for the great vacation.

Rented this villa in February 2025 for our family. 4 adults and a baby. We were not disappointed! Pre-rental communication was very good with questions answered promptly. Villa itself is spacious, very well appointed and ideal for families with a lovely pool area and pool. Location is ideal with easy access to US27 with Walmart, restaurants etc and US192 with literally dozens of restaurants and the route to Disney! Owners checked all was well when we arrived and kept in touch should we have any questions. Would thoroughly recommend.

WOW! The Palms at Lake Davenport is amazing, it is beautifully maintained, very clean and tidy with everything that you need for a home from home holiday especially the Games Room which was a hugh bonus for the kids, many table tennis tournaments over the holiday, the Villa was great to come back to after a full day at the parks to relax and chill out. The Villa is situated in a lovely area with lots of restaurants, takeaways and supermarkets near by which was ideal. From the initial booking right through to arriving back home, Gary and Lorraine were fantastic. The Information that i received prior to departure was exceptional, from the directions from the Airport to the Villa including back roads so you miss the traffic was a great touch and it made you feel very at home. The highlight of staying at The Palms was that we felt like we were home! and we loved it!!! Nothing was ever too much trouble for Gary and Lorraine and we hope to return in the near future. I would highly recommend this property.

Yet another brilliant visit. The weather was amazing (only 1 hour of rain in a fortnight) and I spent days lazing either by the house pool or at the community one just a 2-minute walk up the road. Tips given by the owner helped enormously in cutting out some of the traffic queues in the mornings for the nearby theme parks. In the evenings we either cooked food on the BBQ or went to nearby Margaritaville Resort, where there are loads of restaurants, shops and bars, the owner also told us that on the weekend they hold a classic car show with live bands performing in the evening.
