To get the best deal on your next Florida rental villa there are a couple of things you need to do.
Firstly try to avoid school holidays if you can as most airlines and villa owners have higher rates during these times. This is just a case of basic supply and demand, so going outside these times should save you a good amount of money.
If you can't go outside the school holidays then the price of the villa will be higher but you maybe able to save some money on your flights. Book your flights as early as you can as the price of these will only increase the nearer you get to the departure date if they are flying within school holidays.
If your Florida villa holiday is outside school holidays then you maybe want to wait and book the flights when the airlines have a sale. Most have one or two sales a year and you can get some very cheap flights if you are prepared to be flexible.
If you are flexible on your travel dates then just wait for some cheap flights to come along and then go. We have over 850 Florida villa rentals to choose from so you should always be able to find something that suits your needs. Quieter months in Florida are January, February, May and September as well as the first two weeks of November and December. The busiest times for visitors is Easter and Christmas and then summer.
Be flexible on your location, with so many villas to choose from all close to the Orlando theme parks it doesn't really matter where you stay. We have holiday villas in Davenport, Kissimmee and Clermont so nothing is far away.
Once you have decided on your dates try to work out your budget as this will help narrow down your villa selection. Also don't bother emailing owners whose homes are way out of your budget asking for a massive discount, this never works and only leads to dissapointment.
Work out how many bedrooms and bathrooms you need and go from there. Do you want to be on a resort community with a clubhouse, pool, water slides, lazy river etc or would you prefer a quiet lakeside villa.
You will tend to pay more for Florida holiday rentals on resort communities as it costs the owners more in HOA fees to run them. If you want a cheaper villa then try looking at communities without all the clubhouse facilities. Lots of guests just prefer to lay by there own pool rather than visiting the clubhouse.
On the flip side of this you can save a fortune not having to go to the water parks if your little ones are happy at the Free clubhouse facilities so this is something to factor in.
Once you know the number of beds and bath look at the pool area as this is where you will be spending alot of time so you want to make sure you are happy with it. Make sure there are enough sun loungers, chairs etc. What you see in the photos should be what's at the home but it's always worth asking incase they have added more or one has been damaged and removed.
We hope these few tips will help you choose the right Florida villa holiday accommodation for your family and friends.
