How far is Solterra Resort from Disney?
Disney’s Magic Kingdom is 14 miles from Solterra. Using a lesser known sneaky shortcut, the easiest route to get there is by taking a right out of Solterra onto Pine Tree Trail, follow this to the end and take a left onto Ronald Reagan Pkwy. Then the first right, Heritage Pass, through the entrance to Windwood Bay, again follow this road to the end and take a left onto Osceola Polk Line Road 532. Now pick up the I4 heading East, by taking the exit on the right. From the I4 you can follow all the exit signs for each of the Disney parks, Magic Kingdom is junction 62, World Drive. This journey should take around 35 minutes.
How far is Solterra Resort from Universal Studios?
Universal Studios is slightly further at 21 miles from Solterra. Again you can use the same sneaky shortcut outlined above. The easiest route to get there is by taking a right out of Solterra onto Pine Tree Trail, follow this to the end and take a left onto Ronald Reagan Pkwy, then the first right, Heritage Pass, through the entrance to Windwood Bay, again follow this road to the end, and take a left onto Osceola Polk Line Road 532. Now pick up the I4 heading East, by taking the exit on the right. Universal Studios is exist 75A from the I4. This journey should take a similar time - around 35 minutes.
Where is Solterra Resort Orlando?
Solterra Resort is located in Davenport, the main road into the resort, is called Solterra Blvd. It is around 35 minutes from Orlando International Airport (MCO) and has great access to Interstate 4 and HWY192. The nearest shopping, restaurants and supermarket are at Champions Gate.
What are the local supermarkets to Solterra Resort?
You have a choice of supermarkets when staying at Solterra, the closest is Publix at Champions Gate, which is 3 miles away. The easiest route to get there is by taking a right out of Solterra onto Pine Tree Trail, follow this to the end and take a left onto Ronald Reagan Pkwy, keep going and you will pass over the I4, take the next right, Champions Gate Blvd, Publix supermarket will be on your left.
Another option is Target at Posner Park, where you also have a range of clothes and home stores. Ideal for a wander! For Posner Park, take a left out of Solterra, follow the road to the end and take a right onto Ernie Caldwell Blvd. Take a left onto Grandview Pkwy and the shops will be on your left. There is also a cinema at Posner Park with IMAX!
For emergency essentials, like milk, bread cereal etc there is a large 7-Eleven garage at the corner of Pine Tree Trail and Ronald Reagan Pkwy.
Solterra Resort Clubhouse Amenities and Fitness Center?
Solterra Resort has something for everyone and is open to all guests staying onsite, with a large pool area, water slide, hot tub and the new lazy river. Surrounding the pool are plenty of sun loungers and cabanas can be rented for those seeking extra shade.
There is a cafe at the clubhouse which is open in line with the pool area, and offers drinks, snacks and lunches.
Inside the Solterra Resort air-conditioned clubhouse there is a gym with state of the art work out equipment.

Restaurants near Solterra Resort?
At Champions Gate you have a selection of restaurants and fast food options, including Chilli's Grill & Bar, Millers Ale House, Dulcetto Bistro, British Fish and Chip Shop, Subway, McDonalds, Red Robin, Wendy's and Dunkin Donuts.

Beyond Champions Gate, I recommend that you head to HWY 192, via Toll Road 429 - this road is an excellent short cut to the west end of the HWY 192, it will cost you 75 cents (each way) to travel the road which you will need in change, as the toll is unmanned when you exit.
- Leave the I4, at Exit 60, taking Toll Road 429 (Apopka)
- Take Exit 6 for HWY 192 (Signposted Kissimmee).
- After passing the toll, take a left for Manny’s Chop House or a right for a variety of restaurants including Longhorn Steakhouse, Millers Ale House, Olive Garden, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, TGI Friday, OutBack Steak House, Red Lobster.
